Here are some pics from our trunk or treat event we had this weekend at church. Carter is a penguin and he actually kept his cap on the whole time- I was shocked! He had fun, we are still trying to learn how to say trick or treat...it comes out more like tee tee....There was a girl there with lighted wings that he chased and there was also some kid dressed up like Elmo and he wanted to follow him/her around pointing and saying "Elmo!!!"

A language only a 2 year old can understand!
As you can see Carter loves the phone... He will pick up my
cell phone out of my purse and hold it up to his ear and say, Hi.. and then
"C-ya.." He is going to be calling girls before we know it!!

Stay off the Roads!
Only a few more years and I can already see Carter having to
do all of the mowing, he can't get enough of driving, he likes to "drive"
our cars and now he has his own motorized tractor that he can drive
pretty well. This is going to come in handy when we move into our
house with land! I can send him out to get the mail and the paper!!
Watch out for moving vehicles when you come to visit!!!

I am TWO!

Carter turned two Monday, and we had a little party this weekend for him. It was such a good time, lots of friends and family came to enjoy the fun! We had lots of Carter's friends there as well as everyone from granny's to great grandmothers! It was an Elmo party (of course) and we had cupcakes and a clown who entertained all of the kids by painting faces and making balloon animals. The kids also enjoyed the bouncer- Carter liked getting in it and running from one side to the next - he hasn't mastered actually jumping yet.... I am sure that will be coming soon. He is so blessed and got lots of cool things and he did not want to go to bed that night becaust he didn't want to leave all of his new toys!!
We did go to the doctor this morning for his yearly checkup and he is off the charts with his height- 37 in (90-95th %tile) and his weight was 32 lbs which was good too... so he is definately a growing boy!

The End of An Era...
For my 30th Birthday present my sweet husband got me and Jennifer tickets to go to the final farewell game for Biggio. It was so awesome! We got there and had to wait in line because it was completely sold out over 43,000 people came to see the Astros play (even though they are having a terrible year..) and to say good bye to a legend. There will never be another player like him- he is truly a player for kids to look up to... It was an awesome tribute to go and I am so glad that we got to go!!!
He was very humble, they had a ceremony before the game and he truly appreciated everything that was done for him and all of the fans that showed up to wish him well- he isn't a ball player that feels like he is entitled to all of the accolades given to him. He ran a victory lap around the stadium slapping hands with all of the fans and really did not want to leave the field... It was such a nice experience and I am so glad we got to go- glad Jennifer was able to make the trip with me, it was just like "old days!" :)
Go B-G-O!!! There will never be another like #7!!
